Moral hater: the very dark side of leftism

Why being a ‘leftist’ doesn’t equal ‘good person’

Recently I was confronted with the dark side of leftism; a death threat was hurled my way because I dared to call out a ‘progressive’ on her not-so-progressive views. But who are these people and why is it always a person with ‘kindness’ and “proud ally” in their bio who behave this way?

“I hope you die in the camps as soon as Trump comes to power” – while it’s a vile sentence either way, you’d think this was some MAGA-troll spewing hateful rhetoric all over your comment section, right? Wrong. This sentence was uttered by a delightful leftist who was gently corrected by another leftist on a Thread about the “mental illness of MAGA”. And I’m talking very gently corrected. Nothing hurtful or hateful was said, just a respectful disagreement.

From one side, that is. Because the person being corrected retorted to insults almost immediately. After a little back and forth, this woman ended the argument with the sentence written above. And when I tried to point out to her that she wasn’t behaving ‘leftist’ and actually more ‘MAGA’, she told me she would sleep better at night knowing I’d be killed when Trump came to power. Yes, this was a woman with rainbow flags in her bio and ‘social justice’ plastered all over her profile. That’s the dark side of leftism for ya…

Over the image the words "This is why your 'preference' in women might actually be a misogynistic beauty standard – how your innocent preferences could be perpetuating harmful beauty standards" are written.
